Residents said this is the first time this happened in Philcoa. Whoever thought that even Quezon City will be under water?? My neighbour said he lived there in Bliss for 10 years and this is the first time this horrible thing happened…
Quotes from personas: “A matter of hours, it nearly submerged Manila…this will not happen IF THE 3 DAMS OUT THERE DID NOT RELEASE WATER!”….eto ang sagot ng isa: “just a word of advise… be glad the dams did release water….” oh really…
What will happen to the cars that were under water during the flood?
Trucks are probably safe, but cars …..
– The electronic parts and built-in computers of recent car models are probably knocked out.
– Upholstery (seats, floor carpet and other soft materials) will rot.
– The chassis will rust, even those that are less than 3 years old, especially if they got dented.
– Filters and mufflers of the exhaust system are damaged
– The motor compartment – air filter, pipes, fluids, wires, distributor, and other electronic / electrical parts, too.
Most cars under those conditions will cost a lot to repair, hence, better scrap them.
